The Short-legged Horned Toad (Xenophrys brachykolos) is a native species in Hong Kong. It was first discovered in the Peak, Hong Kong.[1]
It can be found in Lung Fu Shan Country Park.[2] The populations are restricted to Hong Kong; much of them are in the country parks in Hong Kong. There may be population in northeastern Vietnam;[3] there are not information about them, however. One specimen was once collected in Fujian but there are no recent records.
